1Finity Launches Ultra Optical System L1000/L2000 for AI Networking
1Finity has introduced the Ultra Optical System L1000/L2000, an open platform designed for next-generation AI networking. Set to launch in Fall 2026, it provides high-capacity managed optical services and core infrastructure for hyperscalers and cloud providers. The platform supports 800G and higher speeds, ensuring scalability and reduced total cost of ownership. It features a modular architecture for multi-vendor operation and advanced automation for proactive maintenance. The system will be showcased at MWC Barcelona and OFC 2026.

1Finity, a Fujitsu company, unveiled the Ultra Optical System L1000/L2000, targeting next-generation AI networking needs. Launching in Fall 2026, the platform supports high-capacity managed optical services and infrastructure for hyperscalers and cloud providers, ensuring performance and scalability for DCI, metro, and long-haul transport.
It features optimized architecture for 800G+, reduces power and space requirements, and operates across modular designs that scale from 1 to 16 degrees. The system incorporates automation for fiber maintenance and management.
It aligns with national research on ROADM-based optical networking from the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Japan. The system will be presented at MWC Barcelona and OFC 2026.
