Chris Tyas OBE has been appointed as chair of the Carbon Board at 2 Sisters Food Group, tasked with advancing the company's Net Zero by 2035 strategy. He brings over 40 years of experience in supply chain leadership, having held positions at Mars and Nestlé.
Additionally, Tyas will assist in supply chain resilience as part of the incident management team. This comes at a critical time as the company navigates challenges posed by the Middle East crisis. The Boparan Private Office, parent company of 2 Sisters, recently acquired Heidemark to boost automation and sustainability efforts. Tyas's leadership is expected to enhance the company's Next Gen agenda, focusing on developing sustainable food systems.
