32nd Infantry Battalion Provides Livelihood Training to Women in Basilan
The 32nd Infantry Battalion facilitated fish processing training for the Lower Benembengan Women's Association in Basilan. This initiative aims to enhance income opportunities for participants, primarily wives of local fishermen, by teaching them to create marketable fish products.

On July 15, 2026, the 32nd Infantry Battalion conducted fish processing training for members of the Lower Benembengan Women's Association in Sumisip, Basilan. The training focused on skills for preparing and cooking fish products such as fish fillet, tocino, and longganisa, intended to convert surplus fish into marketable goods.
This initiative addresses economic resilience by enabling women to contribute financially to their families. The Battalion will continue to support programs that foster women's empowerment and community development in the region.
