The findings indicate sustainability reporting has become essential to corporate governance and risk management.

However, companies face challenges, including budget constraints (43% identified this), fragmented data systems (40.7%), weak technology integration (31%), and unclear ownership of responsibilities. Automation and centralized data platforms are expected to help address these issues, as sustainability reporting increasingly ties into financing and operational strategies.
