Actemium's Kigtek Completes Integration for Diageo's Tank Farm Expansion in Scotland
Actemium, through Kigtek, has completed the electrical and automation integration for a tank farm expansion at Diageo's facility in Fife, Scotland. This project is part of an infrastructure upgrade aimed at increasing storage capacity and operational flexibility. The integration involved 12 new 180m³ storage vats and was executed within a schedule from April 2024 to December 2025, enhancing spirit transfer efficiency and supply chain resilience.

Actemium's Kigtek has delivered electrical and automation integration for a tank farm expansion at Diageo's Fife facility in Scotland. This project is part of an upgrade to increase storage capacity and operational flexibility due to rising global demand.
Kigtek integrated 12 new 180m³ storage vats into existing operations within a COMAH-regulated environment. The turnkey solution included detailed electrical design, MCC manufacture, and software commissioning.
The project involved over 30 invasive tie-ins during scheduled breaks, installation of 30 km of cabling, 22 control panels, and integration of 200 valves and instruments. The upgrade, running from April 2024 to December 2025, aims to improve efficiency and supply chain resilience.
