ADB Completes Feasibility Study for Islamabad Inter-City Bus Terminal
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has completed a feasibility study for the Islamabad Inter-City Bus Terminal, which will integrate with the city's Metro and Electric Feeder Bus services and feature electric vehicle charging stations. ADB is also assisting with the Islamabad Transport Master Plan and aims to help secure carbon credits for sustainable projects, addressing traffic congestion in the capital.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) completed the initial feasibility study for the Islamabad Inter-City Bus Terminal project. ADB is developing a financial model for the terminal, which will integrate with Islamabad's Metro and Electric Feeder Bus services and include electric vehicle charging stations.
ADB is also providing technical assistance for the Islamabad Transport Master Plan. Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Muhammad Ali Randhawa, emphasized the need for ADB's support in securing carbon credits for environmentally friendly projects. The project aims to ease traffic congestion in Islamabad.
