ADM and Living Lands & Waters Collaborate for River Cleanup in Quincy
Fifteen ADM employees participated in the Great Mississippi River Cleanup, focusing on environmental stewardship and water quality.

Fifteen employees from ADM's Quincy facility collaborated with Living Lands & Waters for the Great Mississippi River Cleanup on Thursday. This initiative targets the Mississippi River, specifically near the Quincy Wastewater Treatment Plant, an area impacted by heavy barge traffic that contributes to debris accumulation.
ADM has partnered with Living Lands & Waters since 2004, engaging in various environmental activities including tree planting and educational programs across multiple river regions. The last cleanup took place in 2023, with plans to establish an annual event. Collected waste will be recycled, converting plastic into pallets for local use, highlighting a commitment to sustainability and clean water essential for agriculture.
