Aesseal Automates to Enhance Workforce Productivity Amidst Profit Growth
Aesseal plans to automate processes, allowing 50% of its design and manufacturing staff to focus on complex tasks. The company reported a 3% increase in pre-tax profits for 2025, reaching £60.6 million, alongside group revenues of £280 million.

Aesseal, part of AES Engineering, announced an automation strategy aimed at reallocating 50% of its design and computer-aided manufacturing professionals to more complex tasks. For the financial year 2025, AES Engineering reported pre-tax profits of £60.6 million, a nearly 3% rise from £59 million in the previous year, with group revenues increasing to £280 million from £270.7 million.
The company has also made significant capital investments, including a new Net Zero headquarters in Brisbane, Australia, which is the first building in the country to receive BREEAM 'Excellent' certification. Additionally, Aesseal opened a new manufacturing facility in Rotherham and has restructured its business to gain strategic control in various international markets. This automation and expansion could enhance operational efficiency but may also pose risks associated with workforce adaptation.
