Agave has secured $15 million in Series A funding, led by Accel, to enhance its AI platform for construction financial management. This investment raises Agave's total funding to over $20 million since its founding in late 2021.
The company aims to streamline financial workflows on top of existing systems, addressing complexities unique to construction accounting where each project operates as its own profit center. Agave's software is utilized in over 80,000 projects worth more than $100 billion, reportedly saving customers over 60 hours a month in manual tasks.
With a projected 41% retirement rate in the construction workforce within five years, Agave's automation tools may mitigate labor shortages while enhancing productivity. The funding will support team expansion and the scaling of AI-powered products.
