Ahold Delhaize USA has commenced construction on an $860 million distribution center in Burlington, North Carolina. This facility will add over one million square feet of distribution capacity for the Food Lion brand, creating more than 500 jobs. The project supports Ahold Delhaize's strategy to modernize its supply chain and enhance operational efficiency through automation and sustainability. The center is expected to begin operations in 2029 and will be the largest in the company's North Carolina network.
