Algeria Invites Max Group for Manufacturing Plant Establishment

Algeria has proposed the establishment of a manufacturing plant by Bangladesh's Max Group, providing support such as land, utilities, and tax benefits. This invitation arose during Ambassador Abdelouahab Saidani's visit to Max Group's facilities, where he highlighted Algeria's competitive supplies of steel and natural gas for Bangladeshi industries.

Saidani noted that 22 draft agreements between the two countries are nearing completion, which indicates a strong commitment to improving bilateral commercial ties. Max Group, which has transitioned towards export-oriented growth, is already exporting to Malaysia and several African nations.

The chairman, Golam Samdani Bhuiyan, emphasized the need for stable policies to support industrial investment and proposed enhanced cooperation in lubricant manufacturing and training for engineers. Both parties aim to strengthen economic collaboration and increase investment opportunities.
