Alicat Scientific's IS-Max and IS-Pro instruments are now certified as Intrinsically Safe for Class I Division 1 and Zone 0 hazardous locations in North America. The IS-Max is the only mass flow controller globally rated for Zone 0.

The certification follows previous ATEX and IECEx certifications. These instruments provide detailed data on flow and pressure during operation. Alicat also expanded its FastTrack 5-day delivery program to include high-flow Rolamite valves and new communication protocols like EtherNet/IP and PROFINET, aimed at industries requiring precise fluid control. This expansion allows for tailored solutions with shorter lead times.
