Alithea Genomics Unveils MERCURIUS 1536 DRUG-seq for Enhanced Compound Profiling
Alithea Genomics has launched an early access program for MERCURIUS™ 1536 DRUG-seq, a novel ultra-high-throughput transcriptomics kit. This innovation allows drug discovery teams to efficiently profile biological responses across large compound libraries, addressing current limitations in pharmaceutical research and development.

Alithea Genomics has introduced the MERCURIUS™ 1536 DRUG-seq kit aimed at advancing transcriptomics in drug discovery. The kit facilitates transcriptome-wide gene expression profiling from 1536-well plates, streamlining the process of generating biological response data.
It supports the assessment of over 12,000 genes with high demultiplexing efficiency and reproducibility of differential expression signatures. The technology minimizes hands-on time to approximately 2.5 hours without requiring a 1536-well thermocycler, enhancing automation and reducing batch effects. This advancement is crucial for AI-driven discovery efforts, providing essential data to link chemical perturbation with biological responses in extensive screening campaigns.
