Alligator Automations Expands Domestic Automation Capabilities in India
India's packaging automation sector is shifting towards local production, reducing reliance on imported machinery. Alligator Automations' new facility in Pune, with a ₹40 crore investment, boosts its capacity significantly, supporting the growing demand for integrated automation solutions.

Alligator Automations has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Pune, investing ₹40 crore to enhance production capacity to ₹500-₹600 crore annually. The company has completed over 450 projects in more than 14 countries, focusing on integrated automation solutions for sectors such as FMCG, beverages, and e-commerce logistics.
This shift to local production decreases reliance on imported European machinery, which previously incurred 20-30% higher costs and longer delivery times. The company's systems aim to reduce manual handling by 60-70% and support scalability to manage capital expenditure. The expansion is also expected to generate new employment opportunities in India and abroad.
