Altmin, founded in 2023 in Hyderabad, is developing a lithium-ion cathode manufacturing facility in Telangana with an investment of Rs 750 crores. The project, which will span 20 acres, aims to achieve an output of 8 gigawatt-hours initially and scale up to 100,000 tonnes per year by 2030.
In December 2025, Altmin announced a joint venture with Singareni Collieries to establish a lithium refinery, marking a significant collaboration for the company. A pilot plant at ARCI has already been operational since 2023, producing LFP.
