Amazon to Invest Over €5 Billion in Poland for Logistics and Content from 2026 to 2028
Amazon will invest more than €5 billion in Poland between 2026 and 2028, which includes the establishment of a new logistics center and increased content for Amazon Prime. This is part of over €10 billion spent by Amazon in Poland since 2012.
The new fulfillment center in Dobromierz, set to open later this year, will be the 12th in the country, creating over 1,000 jobs and using advanced automation with over 5,000 robots. Despite this investment, Amazon has faced ongoing scrutiny regarding worker safety, with recent investigations revealing inadequate health and safety documentation. Additionally, in 2024, consumer protection authority UOKiK fined Amazon 31.9 million zloty for misleading customer practices.
