Amazonia Impact Ventures has invested $200,000 in Ecotierra's reforestation project in Roraima, Brazil. This marks Amazonia's first investment in Brazil, aimed at restoring the Amazon through sustainable practices. Ecotierra generates carbon credits via regenerative agriculture, benefitting local farmers and communities. Amazonia has previously invested around $11 million in impact-linked loans to combat deforestation, primarily in Peru.

This investment is part of Amazonia's broader initiative, which has seen approximately $11 million allocated to impact-linked loans aimed at curbing deforestation, mainly in Peru. The Roraima project also aims to support economic migrants from Venezuela and promote biodiverse agroforestry systems across nearly 300 acres.
