Amazonia Impact Ventures Invests $200,000 in Ecotierra's Carbon Projects in Brazil

CARBON CAPTURE

Amazonia Impact Ventures is investing $200,000 in Ecotierra's reforestation project in Roraima, Brazil, marking its first investment in the country. Ecotierra focuses on generating carbon credits through sustainable land-use and regenerative agriculture, benefiting local communities.

This investment is part of Amazonia's broader initiative, which has seen approximately $11 million allocated to impact-linked loans aimed at curbing deforestation, mainly in Peru. The Roraima project also aims to support economic migrants from Venezuela and promote biodiverse agroforestry systems across nearly 300 acres.
