AMIS Launches Runtime Software for Fully Automated Additive Manufacturing Workflows
AMIS has launched AMIS Runtime, an automation engine for additive manufacturing that enables fully autonomous build preparation workflows. It automates part import, nesting, slicing, and export across multiple systems, including SLS and MJF. The platform supports continuous re-nesting of unprinted batches and is currently available under subscription pricing. Early adopters reported improved operational efficiency and reduced production costs. The software was tested in production environments before its public release.

AMIS introduced AMIS Runtime, an automation and scripting engine for additive manufacturing, capable of executing build preparation workflows without manual intervention. It automates processes such as part import, nesting, slicing, and export across systems like SLS and MJF.
The software allows continuous re-nesting of parts, optimizing production efficiency. Initially deployed at two industrial sites, feedback from early adopters influenced enhancements in batch management and error handling.
AMIS Runtime is available under a subscription model, priced at €499 monthly or €399 annually per user. The software contributes to just-in-time production capabilities and aims to lower costs and enhance workflow predictability.
