Athens-Clarke County Fire Department Acquires Rosenbauer T-Rex Ladder Truck for High-Rise Rescues
The Athens-Clarke County Fire Department has introduced a new Rosenbauer T-Rex ladder truck at Station 1 in downtown Athens, costing nearly $2 million. This truck features an articulating arm for high-rise fire and rescue operations, with a vertical reach of 115 feet and a horizontal reach of 93 feet. It includes a Stokes basket for rescue operations and has a pump capacity of 2,000 gallons per minute, enhancing firefighting capability and safety.
