Three Atlas Copco H7+ light towers were supplied by Airlif Compressors and Pumps to a coal mine in Mpumalanga in February 2026. The H7+ offers automated operation with a photocell for dusk-to-dawn functionality and increased lighting coverage of over 7,000 m², surpassing the earlier H6+ model.

Fuel efficiency is enhanced with a reduction of up to 40% in consumption and CO₂ emissions. Airlif has supported the mining community since 1997 and provides modifications to meet specific mining standards.
