Audi Launches A6L e-tron Pre-Sales in China with New CEO Announcement
Audi has initiated pre-sales for the A6L e-tron, a long-wheelbase model tailored for the Chinese market, priced between 313,000 and 443,000 yuan. The model aims to enhance Audi's electric vehicle portfolio in China, which has been limited so far, amid a leadership transition at the Audi FAW NEV Company.

Audi has begun pre-sales for the A6L e-tron in China, with pricing set between 313,000 and 443,000 yuan. This model is the second long-wheelbase vehicle produced by Audi FAW NEV Company at their new Changchun facility, which is designed for an annual output of 150,000 cars and features extensive automation, including 800 robots.
The A6L e-tron includes a 107 kWh battery option, providing a range of up to 815 kilometers, and both it and the Q6L e-tron incorporate an 800-volt architecture supporting up to 270 kW charging. The company also announced that Jörg Menges will become CEO on April 1, 2026, succeeding Helmut Stettner. The success of these new models will be crucial for Audi's competitiveness in the growing Chinese electric vehicle market.
