Automata Secures $45M in Series C Funding Led by Dimension with Danaher as Strategic Investor
Automata, based in London, has raised $45 million in a Series C funding round led by Dimension, with strategic investment from Danaher Ventures. The funds will be used to enhance the LINQ lab automation platform, which integrates modular robotics with orchestration software. Danaher’s partnership will facilitate integration with its brands, enhancing LINQ's capabilities. Automata serves five top-pharma companies and aims to scale globally while developing advanced experimentation software.

Murali Venkatesan from Danaher joins Automata's board, and the partnership enhances LINQ's integration with Molecular Devices and Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. Automata reports five major pharmaceutical companies as clients, with plans to use the investment for global customer deployment and next-generation software development. The funding round also included Tru Arrow Partners, Octopus Ventures, and Entrepreneurs First.
