Automation Alley Expands Project DIAMOnD's Digital Transformation Center for Industrial 3D Printing Access
Project DIAMOnD, led by Automation Alley, has expanded its Digital Transformation Center (DTC) to offer industrial 3D printing services to businesses beyond its membership network. This initiative enhances access to advanced additive manufacturing equipment and expertise for small and mid-sized businesses in Michigan and beyond, enabling them to scale production without substantial capital investment.

Project DIAMOnD has opened its Digital Transformation Center (DTC) in Auburn Hills, Michigan, to businesses outside its membership network, providing access to industrial-grade 3D printing services. This initiative is designed to support manufacturers, engineering firms, and technology companies by offering advanced polymer and metal additive manufacturing capabilities without the need for significant capital equipment.
The DTC offers services including polymer powder-bed fusion, large-format thermoplastic printing, and metal printing, along with professional post-processing and validation tools. Companies can submit designs digitally, receive quotes, and collaborate with experts to optimize their production processes.
