Avaana Capital has appointed Vikas Verma as Partner and promoted Shruti Srivastava to Partner as well. The venture capital fund aims to increase investments in deeptech, focusing on areas such as energy, mobility, advanced manufacturing, AI, robotics, semiconductor and quantum computing, agriculture, biotechnology, and advanced materials. Avaana Capital is currently investing through its Avaana Climate and Sustainability Fund, which has closed at $135 million, targeting early-stage climate tech companies.
