Aveva Supports Decarbonization Efforts of Enel Green Power, Nextchem, and Termokimik through Digital Technologies
Aveva is aiding Enel Green Power, Nextchem, and Termokimik in their decarbonization efforts through advanced digital technologies. Enel has achieved significant reductions in energy waste and emissions using predictive diagnostics, while Nextchem is developing CO₂ capture facilities, and Termokimik is implementing carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies. A recent summit emphasized the crucial role of reliable data and interoperability in meeting decarbonization targets.

Aveva is assisting energy companies in their green transition using digital technologies. Enel Green Power employs predictive diagnostics to enhance operational efficiency and reduce emissions. Nextchem (Maire) focuses on CO₂ capture projects, including the first commercial-scale facility for Eni in Casalborsetti.
Termokimik implements carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies. A recent summit highlighted these initiatives, showcasing the importance of reliable data and interoperable technologies in achieving decarbonization goals.
The Hail & Ghasha project, valued at $8.7 billion, aims for net-zero CO₂ emissions. Enel's collaboration with Aveva has shown significant reductions in energy waste and emissions through predictive maintenance, preventing 1.2 TWh of energy loss and over 54,000 tons of CO₂ equivalent emissions. Termokimik's pilot project in Brindisi demonstrates a CO₂ capture efficiency of 85-90% for a coal power plant.
