Backswing Ventures has participated in a financing round for Isengard Industries, alongside A3 Management Group and other investors. The investment will drive the development and mass production of precision strike and counter-UAS systems, essential for U.S. and allied militaries.
Isengard, founded by Francisco Serra-Martins, aims to design military systems for rapid and economical manufacturing at scale. The company is establishing partnerships with military forces in Europe, the Indo-Pacific, and the Middle East and is engaging U.S.
Army units. Plans include expanding operational capacity and setting up a U.S. base, with Florida under consideration. The investment aligns with the need for robust manufacturing capacity to meet defense demands.
