Baden-Württemberg Allocates €50M for Green Hydrogen Production Projects
Baden-Württemberg is launching a second funding call of €50 million for green hydrogen projects, targeting regional hydrogen hubs. This funding supports projects of at least 1MW and can cover up to 45% of eligible investment costs, with a cap of €10 million per project. The initiative follows a previous funding round in 2025 that allocated €50.7 million to eight projects, highlighting Germany's position as a leading green hydrogen market in Western Europe.

The German state of Baden-Württemberg has announced a €50 million funding initiative for green hydrogen production projects in its second application round. The funding is aimed at projects of at least 1MW to support regional hydrogen hubs, covering up to 45% of investment costs with a maximum of €10 million per project.
Additional support of up to 30% is available for components like hydrogen storage and compressors. This initiative follows a previous funding call in 2025 that awarded €50.7 million to eight projects, contributing to the development of Germany's extensive hydrogen network.
