Bahrain and India have seen bilateral trade grow to $1.66 billion, with India among Bahrain's top five trading partners. Indian investments in Bahrain total $2.02 billion, while Bahrain has invested $187 million in India, marking a 71% increase in bilateral investments since 2019.
Major imports from India include engineering goods and petroleum products, while Bahrain exports petroleum to India. The nations agreed on cooperation in cybersecurity and maritime security, opposing disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Additionally, the Indian Navy is currently leading Combined Task Force 154 from Bahrain, enhancing regional maritime security capabilities. The strategic and economic ties present opportunities for growth and collaboration across various sectors.
