BBS Automation has launched the second generation of the HEKUdish system to enhance Petri dish production. This new system achieves cycle times of 3.6 to 4.3 seconds, improving output by over 5 million parts annually compared to the first generation.

It can produce up to 55 million Petri dishes per year and offers features like vacuum sealing to prevent damage during transport. The system is designed for easy maintenance and can adapt to different production requirements, allowing for both Petri and contact dishes to be manufactured on the same platform. This flexibility provides customers with a competitive edge.
