Beijing-Xiong'an Express Rail Link Enters Testing Phase Ahead of Opening
The Beijing-Xiong'an express rail link is in the testing phase and slated to open in H2 2026, enhancing connectivity. This development aims to support the relocation of functions from Beijing and facilitate a one-hour commute to Xiong'an.

The Beijing-Xiong'an express rail link, spanning 86.26 km with eight stations, is undergoing integrated testing and commissioning, with an expected opening in the second half of 2026. The service will enable a 30-minute trip to Beijing Daxing International Airport and a one-hour journey to Lize business district, while allowing seamless transfers to seven subway lines in Beijing.
The line utilizes Grade of Automation 4 trains, achieving a top speed of 200 km/h, and is noted as the world's fastest driverless suburban trains. Local authorities anticipate that this project will foster a one-hour commuting circle, significantly aiding the transfer of non-capital functions from Beijing.
