Bharat Forge Targets 20-25% Growth in FY27 with ₹1,800 Crore Investment Plan
Bharat Forge anticipates a 20-25% growth in FY27 and margin recovery to 27-28% in Q2, driven by strategic investments in emerging sectors. The company's push into aerospace and semiconductors reflects a broader industry trend towards diversification amid rising operational costs.

Bharat Forge Ltd. projects a standalone business growth of 20-25% for financial year 2026-27, with margins expected to recover to the 27-28% range in Q2. The company reported a consolidated net loss of ₹90 crore for the June quarter, impacted by exceptional items totaling ₹358 crore, while revenue rose 18.7% year-on-year to ₹4,640 crore.
Bharat Forge plans to invest ₹1,800 crore over the next 12-18 months in sectors such as aerospace, defence, and semiconductors. The establishment of new facilities for data centers and aerospace is anticipated by early 2027.
Furthermore, the company aims to raise up to ₹2,500 crore through equity to support these expansions. Continued inflationary pressures and restructuring efforts in Europe may pose risks to operational performance.
