BlackRock's GIP takes stake in Eni's CCUS business
BlackRock's GIP will acquire 49.99% of Eni's carbon capture and storage operations, including HyNet, L10, and Ravenna projects.
Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), BlackRock's fund, will acquire nearly half of Eni's CCUS business. The portfolio includes UK's HyNet, Netherlands' L10, and future rights to Ravenna in Italy—all to be jointly developed. GIP's capital and expertise aim to scale deployment.
