Blue Ctrl Secures Automation Software Contract for Cable-Laying Vessels
Blue Ctrl has been contracted to provide its X-CONNECT automation platform for two cable-laying vessels for OMS Group, set for delivery in 2028. This agreement underlines the company's capacity to meet stringent demands in automation and energy efficiency within the maritime sector.

Blue Ctrl AS will supply its X-CONNECT automation software for two cable-laying vessels being constructed for OMS Group at Ulstein Verft, scheduled for delivery in 2028. The contract also involves Ulstein Power & Control AS, responsible for integrated power and automation systems.
X-CONNECT will serve as a comprehensive solution for automation, monitoring, and energy management, aiming to enhance operational reliability and reduce emissions. The vessels are designed for demanding tasks, emphasizing sustainability through advanced control and real-time data capabilities.
