Boeing Appoints Travis Sullivan as Southeast Asia President Effective July 3
Travis Sullivan has been appointed president of Boeing Southeast Asia, effective July 3, succeeding Penny Burtt. His leadership is crucial as Boeing anticipates the Southeast Asian aircraft fleet to grow significantly by 2044, highlighting the region's strategic importance in the aviation market.

Boeing has named Travis Sullivan as the new president for its Southeast Asia operations, effective July 3. Sullivan relocates from Miami to Singapore and will oversee the company's strategies and operations in the region.
He has over 16 years of experience at Boeing, previously serving as vice president and general manager at Boeing Distribution. The Southeast Asian aviation market is projected to expand from approximately 1,500 to 5,000 aircraft by 2044, driven by a burgeoning middle class and a 7% annual growth in traffic.
Boeing estimates a demand for about 4,000 new aircraft in the region by 2043 to meet this growth. Sullivan's role involves maintaining Boeing's presence amid increasing competition, particularly from Airbus, and managing relations with government stakeholders to secure defense contracts.
