Bolzano Province Allocates €4 Million for Innovation Hubs
The Autonomous Province of Bolzano has allocated four million euros to support businesses establishing innovative regional networks. This funding is aimed at innovation hubs consisting of at least five autonomous companies collaborating with research institutions in specified sectors.

The Autonomous Province of Bolzano is providing financial support totaling four million euros for the creation and development of innovation hubs. Eligible for funding are collaborations that include a minimum of five autonomous firms working with research institutes in sectors defined by the Smart Specialization Strategy (RiS3): Alpine Technologies, Automation & Digital, Food & Life Science, and Green Technologies.
Existing or new structured cooperations are welcomed. The provincial innovation commissioner emphasizes that collaboration between businesses and research entities is vital for regional competitiveness, with the funding covering 50% of innovation hub costs, thereby promoting innovation in the province.
