Boskalis' BOKA Da Vinci Completes Carbon Capture Project for INEOS in North Sea
Boskalis' BOKA Da Vinci has successfully completed subsea installation works for INEOS at the Nini oil and gas field in the North Sea, facilitating its conversion for carbon dioxide storage. The project involved the installation of a dynamic hose and a pipeline end manifold, allowing CO2 captured onshore to be transported and injected into the field. This initiative highlights Boskalis' expertise in subsea operations for carbon capture and storage.

Boskalis' BOKA Da Vinci has completed subsea installation works for INEOS in the Nini oil and gas field offshore Denmark, facilitating the field's conversion for carbon dioxide storage. In under a month, saturation divers and a remotely operated vehicle installed a dynamic hose with 49 buoyancy modules and positioned a pipeline end manifold.
The static hose was installed in two parts, enabling CO2 captured onshore to be transported and injected into the Nini field through the dynamic hose. This project demonstrates Boskalis' application of subsea expertise in carbon capture and storage initiatives.
