Bosselman Pump & Pantry Acquires 21 Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh Stores
Bosselman Pump & Pantry is set to acquire 21 Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh stores, enhancing its presence in Iowa and Nebraska. The transaction will allow Hy-Vee to refocus on its grocery business while Pump & Pantry aims to grow its footprint in a competitive convenience market.

Bosselman Pump & Pantry has agreed to purchase 21 standalone Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh locations, including five with Starbucks and seven with Smokey Row coffee shops. The rebranding to Pump & Pantry will take place from July 15 to July 26, 2026, with existing employees having opportunities to transition to the new ownership.
The acquired stores are primarily located in the Des Moines metro area, with additional locations in Davenport, Marion, Omaha, and Lakeville, Minnesota. This acquisition increases Pump & Pantry's total to 69 stores.
The move allows Hy-Vee to concentrate on its core grocery operations, retaining 168 adjacent convenience stores. Amid a competitive landscape, Pump & Pantry plans to introduce new food offerings while maintaining Hy-Vee Fuel Saver rewards.
