The Aceh Oil and Gas Management Agency (BPMA) and Pema Global Energi (PGE) are implementing the Aceh production operation-optimization & revamping project (APO ORP) to enhance gas and condensate sales. The project involves replacing outdated production facilities with new, efficient systems, including a gas compressor, gas processing facility (GPF), and power plant.
Currently, the GPF, designed for a capacity of 60 MMSCFD, is 70% complete and is expected to be operational by August 2026. The initiative is projected to increase gas sales by 12 MMSCFD and condensate production by 300 BPD. This project is deemed crucial for the sustainability and efficiency of oil and gas production in the region.
