Bruntwood SciTech Leases 41,000 sq ft to Cellular Origins at Cambridge Science Park
Bruntwood SciTech has finalized a lease for the 41,000 sq ft Da Vinci Building at Melbourn Science Park with Cellular Origins, establishing the latter's global headquarters. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing the development of automated manufacturing systems for cell therapy, anticipated to significantly expand Cellular Origins' workforce and operational capacity.

Bruntwood SciTech has signed a lease agreement for the Da Vinci Building at Melbourn Science Park, Cambridge, totaling 41,000 sq ft to Cellular Origins. The facility will facilitate the development of Cellular Origins' Constellation automated manufacturing platform and support commercial-scale cell therapy manufacturing.
This expansion follows a successful Series A funding round in November 2025 and is expected to double the company's workforce. With ISO certification, Cellular Origins is positioned to address high manufacturing costs in the cell therapy sector through automation and robotics. The partnership signifies a commitment to fostering innovation and scaling operations within the UK's R&D landscape, potentially enhancing the overall market for cell therapies.
