Bulawayo City Council (BCC) has announced a required investment of US$6.6 million to connect King City to its sewage and water systems. The first phase of the project will service 328 housing stands. King City, located outside the Bulawayo boundary, requires infrastructure upgrades for connection.

Key investments include US$875,000 for water mains, a US$1.3 million chlorine dosing room construction, and US$600,000 for a new sewage pump station. The total budget for the connection project is US$6,675,000.
