Bulwark Dynamics Completes First Test of Caravel Autonomous Landing Craft
Bulwark Dynamics has successfully demonstrated the Caravel unmanned landing craft, designed for autonomous payload delivery in high-threat coastal regions. This innovation aims to minimize operator exposure during resupply operations, enhancing logistical efficiency in contested environments.

Bulwark Dynamics announced the successful demonstration of its Caravel unmanned landing vessel, a 15-foot platform designed for contested littoral logistics. The test, which transitioned from concept to open-water operations in 43 days, aims to automate payload delivery from sea to shore, reducing personnel exposure in vulnerable coastal zones.
The Caravel system is particularly relevant for operations in the Indo-Pacific where conventional port access may be compromised. The startup's prototype production facility in Menlo Park, California, opened in January 2026, supports scalable manufacturing. Logistics automation is increasingly crucial as modern military operations evolve to address risks associated with traditional resupply methods.
