Burckhardt has been awarded a contract to supply its Laby® Compressor technology for Itochu Corporation's ammonia bunkering vessel in Singapore, with a capacity of 5,000 m³. The vessel, in partnership with Clean Ammonia Bunkering Shipping Pte.

Ltd., will be built by Sasaki Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and is scheduled for delivery in 2027. Burckhardt will provide two 2K 105-2 Laby® compression systems, crucial for safe ammonia transfer during bunkering. In another project, Burckhardt will supply four 3K 160-3 Laby® systems to a chemicals storage facility in Abu Dhabi, which will handle 4.7 million tons of various materials.
