Candor Textiles has improved its coating capabilities by adopting Zimmer Austria's technology, facilitated by A.T.E. Enterprises. The company aims to transition from producing greige fabrics to finished functional textiles, reflecting a strategic shift in its manufacturing approach.

The new coating line enhances automation and precision, addressing past challenges of consistency and manual errors associated with previous coating operations. This upgrade allows for improved control over critical parameters such as GSM uniformity and coating thickness, essential for meeting global brand standards.

Candor's current coating capacity is approximately 0.75 million meters per month, with a fabric processing capacity of five lakh meters monthly. The company plans further investments in lightweight fabric production and automation enhancements, indicating a focus on growth in the functional textiles sector.
