Carbon Clean's Expansion in India to Boost UK Economy and Job Creation
Carbon Clean's growth in India is projected to generate £83 million for the UK economy and support 250 jobs by 2026.

Carbon Clean anticipates generating £83 million for the UK economy over the next five years from its expansion in India, primarily through machine costs. The initiative is expected to support approximately 250 UK jobs, including up to 150 positions at Thomas Broadbent and Sons in Huddersfield, enhancing advanced manufacturing capabilities in the North of England.
The company's Global Innovation Centre in Navi Mumbai will play a critical role in testing and refining carbon capture technologies, contributing to broader commercial deployment. This project has received backing from the UK Government, which provided an initial £3.5 million grant. The increased international demand for Carbon Clean's technology is likely to reinforce the UK's position in the global carbon capture market.
