Cargill has successfully scaled its private 5G network to 50 operational sites within six months, working with NTT Data and Celona. This deployment covers both the US and Europe and represents one of the fastest industrial rollouts in the sector.

The initiative aims to provide comprehensive connectivity that supports multiple use cases, such as automation and robotics. Cargill is also implementing an ERP system from SAP to unify operations and enhance communication. The transition from 20 test sites to 50 live deployments reflects a significant shift in Cargill's approach, viewing private 5G as essential infrastructure rather than a temporary solution.
