Causa Prima Secures $10M Funding Led by Creandum for B2B Payments Innovation
Causa Prima has raised $10 million in pre-seed funding to develop an AI-driven network for automating B2B payments. This funding aims to address longstanding inefficiencies in accounts payable and receivable systems that hinder real-time transaction processing.

Causa Prima has announced a $10 million pre-seed funding round led by Creandum, with additional backing from Kfund, HelloWorld, and several angel investors. The startup aims to create a shared network where AI agents manage invoices, disputes, and payment terms between buyers and suppliers, addressing inefficiencies in current B2B transaction systems.
The accounts payable (AP) automation market was valued at $3.85 billion in 2023 and could grow to $7.8 billion by 2031, but existing systems are not designed for automated agent interactions. Causa Prima's founders have extensive experience in the field, having previously developed solutions that processed significant transaction volumes.
The investment will support the expansion of Causa Prima's engineering and product teams. The potential challenge lies in whether traditional companies can adapt to this new technology quickly enough.
