C&C Marine Expands 24 Acres and Develops Advanced Spool Shop in Louisiana
C&C Marine and Repair in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, has acquired 24 acres and is developing an advanced spool shop to enhance production capabilities. The facility will be the most sophisticated spool fabrication operation in the U.S., designed for automation and precision to support government-related marine construction projects. Construction is expected to finish by Q3 2026, with full operations by the end of 2026. The company is also engaged in a four-towboat build series for Canal Barge Company, with deliveries scheduled throughout this year.

The project will support government marine construction initiatives. The spool shop is expected to be completed by Q3 2026 and will operate at full capacity by the end of the year. Concurrently, C&C is building four towboats for Canal Barge Company, with deliveries of the first two vessels already completed.
