CGI to Modernize U.S. EPA Financial Management Systems with $64 Million AI Contract

CGI is set to modernize the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) financial management systems under a $64 million contract awarded by the EPA's Office of the Chief Financial Officer. The five-and-a-half-year contract includes multiple task orders and aims to leverage artificial intelligence and Momentum capabilities for enhanced automation and system consolidation.
CGI will augment EPA's Momentum capabilities, integrate AI, and optimize Compass within the agency's Amazon Web Services (AWS) framework, facilitating the retirement of outdated systems. The initiative seeks to improve operational efficiency and transparency in managing public resources.
