The Challenger+ RP2350 board, featuring a Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller and an STMicroelectronics ST87M01 NB-IoT module, is designed for IoT applications requiring low-power, long-range connectivity. It is available for 549 Swedish Kronas (about $60) from the iLABs store, with optional LTE antenna priced at approximately $7.5.
Target applications include asset tracking, smart city infrastructure, and industrial IoT monitoring. The board lacks a GPS antenna, which users are expected to source independently. This introduction marks the first RP2350 variant equipped with NB-IoT capabilities, potentially enhancing market options for cellular-connected devices.
