China Imposes Sanctions on 10 U.S. Defense-Related Companies
China has instituted sanctions against ten U.S. defense-related firms, restricting dual-use exports. This measure, aimed at protecting national security, responds to recent U.S. actions against Chinese tech companies linked to military activities.

China's Ministry of Commerce has announced sanctions against 10 U.S. companies, prohibiting the export of dual-use products to these firms. The sanctioned companies include Aveox, Red Cat Holdings, Teal Drones, IMSAR, Jaia Robotics, Ball Aerospace & Technologies, Oshkosh Defense, L3Harris Maritime Services, MP Materials, and USA Rare Earth.
Concurrently, the Ministry of Finance has banned state entities from purchasing products from 46 U.S. firms, including Lockheed Martin and Raytheon. This response follows the U.S. expanding its list of Chinese firms alleged to have military connections, which China has criticized as improper. The sanctions could significantly impact U.S. companies in the rare earth sector and their supply chains.
